I am overjoyed that fall shows are back. It was extra fun getting to watch “Nashville”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “New Girl”, “Shark Tank” and “Modern Family” on the big screen with DVR. On an opposite note, I sadly watched “Dexter” come to an end and can’t believe I’m about to endure the same again in a few days with “Breaking Bad”.
I’ve been trying to get my DSLR fixed since before coming home. The guy totally messed up and replaced a shutter that did not need to be replaced, so now I get to drive back out to the boondocks to pick it up and ship off to Canon so I can again return to Germany DSLR-less. My blogging photos will continue to be subpar and I’m disappointed.
Every once in awhile I post a seemingly normal photo in a Facebook album and it gets an abnormal amount of attention. As far as the wedding shots goes, it is this one.
I have a five hour layover in Detroit tomorrow. Detroit will become my 6th major US city to visit only via airport. The others are New York City, Washington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, and Phoenix.
I have successfully gone my entire stay in Houston without wearing long pants, close-toed shoes, and make up. I’m ruling this a WIN!
Germany, I know you put out a mean winter front, but this year, I’m going to be ready for you!
I arrive back in Germany on Sunday morning, assuming everything is OK with my flight, and on Monday I will be at Oktoberfest. Overly ambitious? Probably. It is my only opportunity to go this year though between my US trip and work next week and you bet I am seizing it.
“Last meal” tonight? A surf n’ turf of filet mignon and lobster tail. Man, I’m spoiled.
Everyone enjoy your weekend for me as I will be airporting and airporting some more!
