stamp of approval saturday #3.
Happy Holidays everyone and welcome to installment number 3 of SOAS. I have really enjoyed collecting links to share with y’all – it almost makes me feel better about all my wasted time on the Internet, like I’m spreading the joy or something.
Buzzfeed: 26 Moments that Restored our Faith in Humanity This year
Buzzfeed: This is really one of my go to, I’m bored, sites due to it’s listed content (I love lists!) and weird graphics. Their best of 2012 compilation kept me entertained for far too long.
Google: I am a sucker for the end of the year wrap-ups and best of lists, and Google’s Year in Review is always so special.
Mashable: I mean parents and technology, the combo never seems to either a) frustrate me, or b) make me laugh. Check out the 12 Funniest ‘Parents Shouldn’t Text’s of 2012.
Mashable: If you’re reading this, we survived the Mayan predicted apocalypse, but 21 Hilarious Tweets for the End of the World is still worthy of a few giggles.
MODG: Amanda has had my stamp ever since I started blogging. Although she’s a mega mommy blogger and I couldn’t be further from it, I’m obsessed with her honesty, goodness, and real emotion. Anyways, last year during Christmas she started something called WANA (We Are Not Assholes) to prove that there are lots of good people out there that help others. If you want to help someone in need, warm clothes for children, toys for Christmas, etc. please check out how now. It’s an amazing cause and I think it’s so cool how she empowers others to help out.
NORAD: Don’t miss a beat from the North Pole this Christmas and track Santa’s trip around the world – too cool for kids and still dweeby fun for adults, gotta love it!
Yahoo! Sports: Last week it was all about JJ Watt and this week it’s about John Kitna. I love when athletes use their leadership abilities off the field to better the world, and this story about former NFL QB John Kitna is truly incredible and a great (and a bit lengthy) read, particularly for any educators out there.
