servus aus österreich!
Here are some photos I snapped from my balcony and from my hike yesterday. I’m not going to write anymore because it’s beautiful outside despite the high chance or rain today, so time to enjoy it while I still can. No complaints here as I’m getting paid to be here – like what? Thankful, I am.
**update**
I just had the epiphany that I am an au pair in the mountains of Austria right now. So Sound of Music. Oh yeah, I haven’t seen the Sound of Music. #aupairfail

Beautiful view.
Enjoy your time in Austria.
Simply beautiful, breath taking in fact, awe inspiring perhaps?
Have fun, enjoy, be grateful, thankful & joyous.
Love you, proud of, and for, you.

Oh wow, that’s so beautiful! Have a wonderful time!
Those pictures are beautiful! I’ve been in love with Austria since I was a little girl and actually I am in Austria right now
My favorite part of Austria is Carinthia. Where are you at?
I’m just over the southeastern German border in a town called Leermos (in Tirol). It’s pretty amazing!
That’s a great area! Enjoy your time
yep, this post just made me miss Germany…like, a lot. Oh the mountains! and, seriously, just hearing ”servus’ in my head brought back SOOO many memories!
So funny because no one in my region really says Servus, but then again you were so close to where I am now! I’m so sad you won’t be around for Oktoberfest
Oh wow, Austria looks absolutely breathtaking!
Absolutely stunning!!! These pics need no words. I am off to the Austrian alps in a few weeks and can’t wait!
WHAT?!?!?! YOU HAVEN’T SEE THE SOUND OF MUSIC?!?!?!?
I know… I have no good excuse. Someday?
I just found your blog from another travel blog. I’m going to be in Austria soon teaching English.
Are you just visiting Austria or are you an au pair there? I read your post about going back for another year to Germany, so I was just curious!
Very exciting! Where in Austria will you be?
I am just visiting right (Urlaub) now with the family I work for. I am in Southwest Germany. I saw that you’re a Fulbrighter – very fun. I met a few Fulbrighters last year and they were always having a great time!
i’m honestly not sure we can be friends until you see the sound of music. #justkidding
#amireally?
I know, I know. One day I’ll fork over the cash and rent it on iTunes or something. I’m terrible. Please forgive me! Especially since I totally plan on coming to visit whenever you get back to Germany.
