I have eyeglasses*. I’m pretty sure 95 percent of my friends don’t know this either. This is probably because I never wear my glasses. I also probably don’t wear them because 1) my vision doesn’t typically bother me and 2) they don’t do anything good for me. I envy my trendy friends when their glasses* seem to add so much to an outfit, but I never think I can pull of any unique frames. When I heard about GlassesUSA.com*, their virtual try on feature and how I can order glasses* online, I got a little excited.
Am I a nerd or what? Then again, I really dig the wider, full frames, which may make me even more nerdy. Or, I may look like a wannabe hipster, because surely I am not an actual hipster. Sometimes, I’m still unsure what a hipster even is, but then when I see one I know it. Whatever, I am getting off topic.
This is probably a good time to tell y’all about my ommetaphobia. Yep, I have ommetaphobia and yep I just had to Google my probia. It’s a fear of eyes. Literally, I will not let people get near my eyes. I cannot have people do my makeup because there’s nothing scarier than someone attempting to do my eyeliner. Heck, I don’t even put on eyeliner. So contacts for me are out of the question. I will not be putting a piece of plastic? in my eyes. Plus, my vision isn’t terrible (i.e., I can just barely pass the eye test at the DMV).
Do y’all wear specs? Contacts? What sort do you wear?
