happy halloween e’rybody!

I did my celebrating on Thursday night at Nightmare on 6th Street, our dress up date party. I usually hate dressing up for Halloween, but had no choice when I received this challenge:

I LOVE winning. I mean, who doesn’t? So obviously Jonathan and I got to brainstorming. We really wanted to be something from our childhood and immediately chose Barney and Baby Bop, but after Lucy in Disguise said they didn’t have a costume and we realized we did not have the skills to make one, we were back to the drawing board. It was the day before the party when we finally got it: McDonald’s employees. It’s creative and comfortable, plus we can do it cheap and homemade.
Step 1: Go to Goodwill. Purchase shirts and pants
Step 2: Go to Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, or another craft store and buy blank hat, apron, pipe cleaner and fuzzies (for headset) and fabric paint.
Step 3: Draw McDonald’s trademark golden arches.
VOILA!

I think it turned out pretty well!

I will be spending the night recuperating and studying for my sports marketing test. What teacher schedules tests the day after Halloween? Oh yeah, the same teacher that schedules a test the day after TX-OU weekend. What a B. Anywhooo…

What were you for Halloween?
Come by and trick-or-treat tonight! We have candyyyyy!
